Yogyakarta Police held a Troop deployment ceremony in the context of Safety Operations Progo 2022

 


Yogyakarta - Hundreds of Yogyakarta City Resort Police personnel participated in Troop deployment ceremony of Safety Operations Progo 2022 in central yard of Yogyakarta Police Headquarters on Tuesday (1/3) morning.

Deputy head of Yogyakarta Police, AKBP Fahmi Arifrianto, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., M.Sc. said this ceremony was held as a final check on the readiness of personnel, completeness of infrastructure so that operations can run according to the goals and targets that have been set.

In the mandate read, AKBP Fahmi said that traffic has a strategic role in supporting development so that security, safety, order and smooth traffic flow are needed.


This operation will be carried out by the Yogyakarta Regional Police and staff for two weeks, starting from March 1 to 14, 2022.

"It is carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia by prioritizing pre-emptive, preventive, persuasive, humanist and educational activities as well as carrying out traffic order publications in order to create a traffic situation that is safe, orderly and smooth as well," said AKBP Fahmi.

It is also hoped that this operation can create increased public discipline in traffic and awareness in implementing health protocols during this pandemic to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
