Deputy head of Yogyakarta Police leads the National Awareness Day Ceremony


Yogyakarta - Yogyakarta City Police Department held a National Awareness Day Ceremony on Thursday (17/2) morning

The ceremony was held as evaluation the results of implementation of duties and forms of responsibility towards individuals and the Polri institution.

In addition, the ceremony was also held to foster discipline and convey actual information directly to members. This was conveyed through the message of the Yogyakarta Police Chief which was read by the Yogyakarta Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Fahmi Arifrianto, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., M.Si. as Inspector of Ceremonies.

In his mandate, the Deputy Chief of Police said that with the occurrence of street crimes the Police must act decisively in law enforcement.

"Our country applies positive law, whoever is guilty must accept the consequences of the law that is violated," said AKBP Fahmi.

Although the perpetrators of street crimes are dominated by minors, as members of the National Police, they must be able to take action according to the existing legal rules. In addition, AKBP Fahmi stressed that all members of National Police must provide guidance and supervision to the perpetrators so that they can be accepted again in the community.

He also said the climate was entering the peak of the rainy season, and remind to always be alert and ready in case of natural disasters such as floods and landslides.
