Yogyakarta - The case of SP (18 years old) and RAP (17 years old) who committed crimes in public, specifically collectively committing violence against people or persecution, and carrying sharp weapons in the type of sickle, is now entering a new stage. This time, the Criminal Investigation Unit of Umbulharjo Sector Police transferred the case dossier to the Yogyakarta City District Attorney's Office on Wednesday (02/02/2022).
"Regarding the case of criminal acts in public which collectively commit violence against people or persecution and carry sharp weapons, the second stage of the dossier has been transferred to the Yogyakarta City District Attorney," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Umbulharjo Police AKP Nury Aryanto, SH, MH in his statement, Monday (07/02/2022).
Prior to transferring the second stage of dossier, investigators had taken legal steps in this case. These include filing and coordinating with the Prosecutor's Office. After the investigation administration is declared complete, the suspect and evidence will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office.
With the transfer of the suspect and evidence, the authority in handling the case rests with the prosecutor's office.
The process of delegating general cases is taken in order to take a legal case to a further level for the process to the next court.

In the second stage of the process, the Criminal Police Investigators from Umbulharjo Sector Police handed over 2 suspects with the initials SP (18), a resident of Berbah Sleman, and RAP (17), a resident of Banguntapan Bantul.
Previously, the suspect carried out his actions on Veteran’s road and in front of the Safara hotel. One of the perpetrators, RA, swung his machete once and hit the victim's right back, after which the victim fell with his motorbike. The perpetrator immediately left the victim and was followed by a friend of the perpetrator.
After all the administrative processes of stage II are completed, the suspects will undergo the process to the next court.
With the transfer of the two suspects to the prosecutor's office, those suspects will undergo a second trial process because one year ago the suspect was caught in the same case, with the different victim and different crime scene.
